Rocky

Description – Rocky is a 2 year old hyper, happy-go-lucky mix who loves to cuddle. He has the sweetest personality and will shower you with love. He is very active and does pull on the leash, though is learning to walk well. Don’t let his looks fool you, it is hard not fall in love with this goober. It is hard to click his picture because he is never still. 

Size – Large. 70 lbs

History – Rocky was also someone’s dog but was abandoned at the Coachella Valley Animal Pound. He had been there for months and on the “red list”, when I was able to get him out.

With other dogs – Very friendly and playful. Presently lives with 5 other dogs. Super social with other dogs and wants to say hi to everyone in the dogrun and wants them to chase him. He is fast and likes to show off that fact. Even if the play becomes aggressive, he does not respond.  

With Kids – Good with kids. Though he is playful and will jump up on you which can be scary for young kids. Not recommended for houses with kids less than 8 yr old or if you are very good at training him not to jump. 

With Cats – Aggressive in the wild/walks due to prey drive 

Known medical conditions – None. 

Other notes – 

• Not good with steps either but learning quickly. 
• Needs some training to be the perfect dog. For example, not jumping, walking without pulling etc.
